Assignment Description: For this assignment I chose people. For this picture we had to take picture of someone showing their personality. I took a picture of an old guy on a motorcycle using no hands showing his courage and experience.

Assignment Description: For this assignment I chose to do food. I had to take picture of food that when you look at it would make you hungry and make you want to eat that food. The food I took a picture of was a strawberry short cake from a birthday party. I took a picture of it because it looks delicious and had nice color.

    In this assignment I learned that my house doesn't have very good lighting so I had to hold the camera very still in order to make the not blurry.

Dictionary Project

   Assignment Description: For this assignment we had to pic four words and describe them with 3-4 pictures then add the definition of the word, we basically made a collage for each word. Then we put the four pages in a folder and handed the folder in.

     In this assignment I learned a lot more about GIMP then I did before, also I feel I learned a lot more about copy righted picture and which ones you can and can't use.

Photo4 Light painting

Assignment Description: For this assignment I chose to do light painting. In this assignment I had to take an object and set it in a very dark room put my shutter speed to about ten seconds and widen my aperture. As I took the picture I took my light and maneuvered it so that the camera would capture the color along with the object.

I learned a lot in this assignment. I learned how my camera captures light in curtain environments and how to make the light frame my subject to get a cool looking picture. Also how to modify it in GIMP to make it look even cooler.

Portrait Demo

  Assignment Description: For this assignment we had to take portrait photos. One of the photos had to be done in front of a backdrop with multiple lights. The second photo had to be taken beside a window with the sun shining through it and someone had to stand beside the subject with a reflection board to light up the other side  of the subject. Then we framed them in GIMP.

  What I learned in this assignment was how light effected the photo and how it crated and took away shadows from the subject to make it a better picture. I also learned how to make a great frame in GIMP.

GIMP 4

Assignment Description: For this assignment I had to take a picture of the school and upload it into GIMP were I took photos from the internet. Then edited them into the original photo of the school creating a life like scene with animation.

What I learned from this assignment was how to exceed my knowledge of the GIMP program and use it  to edit photos making them look realistic.

Assignment Description: For this assignment I chose to take pictures of nature. I tried to capture the flowers in the sun with the blue sky in the back to show what a beautiful day it was. Then I edited it in Photo Shop, then put it on my Blog.

What I learned in this assignment was how to use the photo shop editing section on the website in made my photo look really cool. Also how to complement the flower with the sun light.

Assignment Description: For this assignment we had to slow down own exposure and widen our aperture to get a picture of OD riding his motorcycle with him in focus and the background blurry.

What I Learned: I learned that when you try to take a picture like this you need to follow your subject when your taking your picture  in order for your subject to be in focus. If you don't then the whole this will be blurry.

Photo Assignment2 Still Life

Assignment Description: For this assignment I chose to take a picture of still life. I had to choose a subject and photograph it as if to advertise it or sell it. In order to do so it needed to have good light and to be a good picture over all.

Assignment Summary:
In this assignment I chose to take a picture of my guitar up against my dresser showing one of the handle in the back to give it a nicer look. Then enhanced the contrast of the picture a little in GIMP. After it was all done I posted it on my blog.

Car GIMP Assignment

     Assignment Description: In this assignment we had take someones original photo and edit it in GIMP to  make it look as close as possible to the original photographers edited copy.

In this assignment we learned to use GIMP to edit our photos and make them even better. We also learned a lot about what GIMP is and isn't capable of doing. In this process I have learned to use gimp to enhance my own picture for our future assignments.

Assignment Description: For this assignment I chose to take pictures of my dog. I had to capture his personality in a photo and then enhance it if needed. Then post a blog about our assignment.

Assignment summary: In this assignment I tried to capture my dog's personality. My dog is a very playful and happy dog so i tried to portray that in this photo. He didn't cooperate very well so it took awhile for me to get the right picture with the right lighting and I think I did a good job.
